Some of the things we do
Strengthening of churches and helping to equip the priesthood for works of service. (Ephesians 4:12).
Helping local churches in planting churches without “owning” them.
Helping local churches in appointing and ordaining leaders in accordance with scriptures. (Acts 14:23, Titus 1:5).
Helping local churches with registration processes with government as Public Benefit Organizations and the appointment of Pastors as Marriage Officers in South Africa.
Biblical Partnership is a very important aspect of the Christian Church. Paul used the word, "partnership," to describe both church leaders and churches working together: As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. (2 Cor. 8:23) To the Philippian church, Paul says “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you…because of your partnership in the gospel”. (Phil. 1:3-5)
Churches grow together as we take common steps of faith in walking with our partners, sharing in each other’s joys, understanding each other’s challenges and experiencing each other’s unique connection to our wider mission as the body of Christ. Jesus says, “Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfil the law of Christ” Galatians 6:2.
Celebration is an important part of life. Like the people of God in the Old Testament who celebrated with regular festivals, Capstone partners celebrate together during our Easter Conference, CTP annual “Kopanos” etc. One of Jesus’ greatest stories (Luke 15:11–31) was about a huge celebration, when the prodigal son returned and the father said, ‘Let’s have a feast and celebrate’ (v.23).
Ephesians 4:16 “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work”. Capstone helps partnering churches to build foundations of Kingdom communities as opposed to individual isolated local entities.
